Drinking water is a finite resource that requires protection from contamination and drought. The Highlands and Pinelands regions, which supply much of the state’s drinking water, require extra vigilance. The Save H2O campaign was created to draw attention to the importance of regional planning in protecting our state’s water supply, and to ensure the integrity of our water – quantity and quality.

In addition to the New Jersey League of Conservation Voters Education Fund, the initiative includes these partner organizations: New Jersey Highlands Coalition, Pinelands Preservation Alliance, American Littoral Society, Association of New Jersey Environmental Commissions, and New Jersey Conservation Foundation.
